RSVP Commands

Two types of RSVP commands are applicable to MPLS TE: global configuration commands and interface configuration commands.

The global configuration commands are as follows.

ip rsvp msg-pacing	[period msec [burst msgs [max_size qsize]]]	Off	If you have large numbers of RSVP messages to send, message pacing throttles message transmission so that the router on the other end of the link is not overwhelmed with signalling messages.
ip rsvp signalling hello	{statistics}	Off	Enables RSVP hellos.

The interface configuration command (which is also covered in the section "Physical Interface Configuration Commands") is as follows.

ip rsvp bandwidth	[1-10000000 reservable BW [sub-pool 1-10000000 reservable BW]]	Off	Configures the amount of reservable bandwidth on an interface; see Chapter 3.
